Laurentius, penitentiarians regens, biskop av Arezzo

Johannes Philippi, a priest and monk in the Birgittine monastery of Naantali (Nådendal) in the diocese of Turku, had been appointed father confessor by his superior to the sisters in another monastery of the same order and diocese, and often heard their confessions. On several occasions he entered the convent and had sexual intercourse with two of the nuns, who were related to each other in the third degree of consanguinity. Johannes fears that he has thus incurred excommunication, but he has still officiated. He requests to be absolved from the sins of incest and fornication and to be dispensed from irregularity. The regent Laurentius, bishop of Arezzo, grants the petition.
